About Production Resources Boston

What is Production Resources Boston?

Production Resources Boston provides end-to-end print and promotional marketing services for businesses throughout Greater Boston and New England. We handle trade show displays, large format printing, commercial printing, promotional products, direct mail marketing, and custom apparel from a single office in Boston’s Seaport District.

Production Resources Boston was founded by Fred and Shawn Brundage, who together bring over 50 years of combined experience in print production and promotional marketing. The company has served Boston-area organizations for more than 30 years, including universities, financial institutions, hospitality brands, and nonprofits.

We offer six core services: trade show displays and booth graphics, large format printing (banners, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, billboards, MBTA and airport signage), commercial printing, promotional products, direct mail marketing, and custom branded apparel. As authorized manufacturer’s representatives for 22 companies, we manage each project from design through delivery.

We’re headquartered in Boston’s Seaport District and serve Greater Boston and New England as our primary market. We also regularly support clients nationally, particularly for trade show displays and promotional products that ship to convention centers and events across the country.

Most print and promotional projects require coordinating multiple suppliers: printers, mail houses, display fabricators, and fulfillment centers. Because we’re authorized representatives for 22 specialized manufacturers, we handle that coordination ourselves. You get one point of contact instead of separate vendor relationships to manage for every piece of a project.

Production Resources Boston is owned by Fred and Shawn Brundage, who founded the company and continue to lead client relationships and production oversight today.

We’ve produced marketing materials for organizations including Northeastern University, Babson College, Bentley University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, East Boston Savings Bank, State Street, Sonesta Hotels, and Shaw’s, spanning higher education, financial services, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors.

Working With Us

What is the process for getting started on a project?

Call (781) 368-0895 or fill out our contact form and we’ll schedule a brief consultation to understand your goals, timeline, and budget. From there, we’ll recommend a production approach, connect you with designers if needed, and walk you through proofing before anything goes to press.

Cost depends on the service, materials, quantity, and turnaround you need. A run of brochures prices very differently than a full trade show booth or a vehicle wrap, so we don’t publish flat rates. Tell us your project scope and we’ll put together a quote.

Timelines vary by service and complexity. A commercial print run typically moves faster than a custom trade show display or a large-format vehicle wrap. Share your deadline when you contact us and we’ll tell you upfront whether it’s workable and what a rush option would look like.

We typically work with high-resolution PDF, AI, EPS, and INDD files for print-ready artwork. If you don’t have print-ready files, our design partners can build them for you as part of the project.

Yes. We partner with a wide network of experienced designers, so you don’t need a finished file to get started. Tell us what you’re picturing and we’ll connect you with a designer suited to the project.

Minimums depend on the product and manufacturer, since we work through 22 different vendor partners with their own production requirements. Let us know what you need and we’ll confirm the minimum for that specific item.

Yes. We provide installation and engineering for large format projects like vehicle wraps, wall murals, and outdoor signage, and we manage setup for trade show booths and displays as part of the project.

Yes. While Greater Boston is our primary market, we regularly ship trade show displays and promotional products to convention centers and events nationwide.

Trade Show Displays

What types of trade show displays does Production Resources Boston offer?

We design, produce, and install a full range of trade show graphics, from tabletop displays and retractable banner stands to full custom booths, sized for anything from a single 10-foot space to a full island display.

Custom displays take longer to design, proof, and produce than off-the-shelf materials, so the earlier you reach out ahead of your show date, the more design and material options you’ll have. Contact us with your event date and we’ll map out a timeline that works.

Yes. We design booth graphics, backdrops, and signage around your existing brand materials, and can pair your display with branded giveaways from our promotional products line for attendees.

Large Format Printing

What is large format printing?

Large format printing covers any printed graphic too big for a standard press, including banners, posters, vehicle wraps, wall murals, window and floor graphics, and outdoor signage. We design, produce, and install all of it in-house.

Yes. We design, print, and install vehicle and fleet wraps as part of our large format printing services, including engineering support for larger or more complex installations.

Yes. We work directly with the MBTA and Boston-area airports to coordinate specs, contracts, and delivery schedules for transit advertising, including bus signs, subway displays, and airport signage.

Production Resources Boston provides end-to-end print and promotional marketing services for businesses throughout Greater Boston and New England. We handle trade show displays, large format printing, commercial printing, promotional products, direct mail marketing, and custom apparel from a single office in Boston’s Seaport District.

Commercial Printing

What commercial printing capabilities does Production Resources Boston have?

Our presses range from 14-inch, 2-color equipment for smaller jobs up to a 40-inch, 10-color perfecting press, one of the first of its size in the country, for larger runs. That range lets us handle projects from small brochures to large, complex print jobs through one relationship.

Commercial printing covers standard print materials like brochures, flyers, business cards, and marketing collateral run on our presses. Large format printing covers oversized graphics like banners, wraps, and signage that need different equipment and installation. We offer both, so a project that needs a brochure and a matching banner can go through one point of contact.

Promotional Products

What kind of promotional products does Production Resources Boston offer?

We source branded merchandise across nearly every product category, apparel, drinkware, bags, tech accessories, and event giveaways, through our network of 22 manufacturer partners, and can also warehouse and fulfill inventory for ongoing programs.

It depends on your audience, budget, and goal, whether that’s brand awareness, an event giveaway, or a client gift. Tell us the context and we’ll recommend items that fit, based on what’s worked for similar organizations we’ve worked with.

Direct Mail Marketing

What does Production Resources Boston's direct mail marketing service include?

We handle direct mail from design and printing through list coordination, mail house delivery, and fulfillment, so you can manage a campaign through a single vendor instead of separate print and mail providers.

Direct mail remains a strong channel for the industries we serve most, including higher education, financial services, and hospitality, where a physical piece stands out against a full inbox. We’ve produced direct mail campaigns for clients including Northeastern University’s graduate admissions program.

Custom Apparel

What custom apparel options does Production Resources Boston offer?

We produce branded apparel across styles and decoration methods, including embroidery and screen printing, sourced through our manufacturer network and suited for staff uniforms, team gear, or event merchandise.

Yes. We manage apparel programs of varying sizes, from small team orders to larger event and staff-wide rollouts, and coordinate sizing, fulfillment, and delivery as part of the project.
